A late call to Stanborough Lakes, 20th Jan 2022

A lovely gentleman called to say there was a swan collapsed in the carpark of the restaurant at the lakes. He kept an eye on it to make sure it was safe giving us time to get there.

The swan was covered in a horrible "goo" and had become waterlogged and very cold.

It spent the night at mine, warming up and I drove it to the sanctuary the next day where it was cleaned up.
