A call out to Wetherspoons!!

A call came in from a lovely lady concerned about a duck with a damaged wing. Off to Wetherspoons in Bishop's Stortford I went. She was right to be concerned as the wing was horrifically broken. She came back to mine and I gave pain killers and Mark, another volunteer for The Swan Sanctuary, very kindly drove her to the sanctary that night for treatment. Sadly the only option was amputation, so she will spend the rest of her life in the luxuary and safety of the sanctuary. Sadly it would seem this might have been another dog attack.
